this large park is named for the festival held every spring, wherein singles and couples are invited to a concert held by the city. everyone is encouraged to wear masks and dress-up in period clothing. the concert brings structured chaos and echoing laughter to only a few of the many acres of this park. the park itself was created on low hills that sport various types of trees. a concrete pathway winds through the entirety, and the park itself situated within the heart of the downtown area. toward the center of the park is an impressive playground beside a fenced-in baseball field. games are held on the diamond every once in a while. there's a hot dog vendor who walks the sidewalk daily. a small koi pond in the south-eastern area provides water as well as the occasional fish if one is quick enough. eight canines could be supported here.

in the north-western area of the park there is a cobblestone square that holds a flea market every day save for when the Renaissance Concert is using the location. vendors have booths that sell, among other things, jewelry, clothes, furniture, and of course food. during the day, the square is usually flooded with adults and children. some people bring instruments or coat themselves in silver spray-paint to try and earn a few bucks. homeless people wander along in search of a helpful hand and some free food. at night, the stalls are left hollowed of the more valuable items and perishables, but the amount of scraps dropped during the day is remarkable. there's a medium-sized fountain at the center of the square which runs every day except in winter, spitting water from a swan's extended beak. a stray cat or two will wander in from time to time. eight canines could be supported here.

across a four-lane road from the park stands a massive building, neon lighting along the top to advertise movies. one can tell it's an older structure just by looking at the faded paint over large bricks. there are four places on the outside walls for posters to be hung, lighting in the boxes so it can be visible at night. as always, there's a ticket booth front and center with double doors on each side for entrance and exit. the cinema opens at 6 pm every afternoon, and as such the cinema is barren during the day. the interior is divided into two halls with eight theaters on each side, with a snack bar and bathroom at the fore. down the right-hand hall of theaters, a door at the end which leads to the basement. dank and dark, but very large considering the structure above it. the area is relatively empty, and when it rains the crease of ceiling from an alleyway leaks. rats and an occasional cat sometimes can be heard scrabbling about in the darkness. only three canines could be supported here.

nestled behind a cozy italian restaurant is an alley large enough to allow delivery trucks access, despite the large trash cans and dumpsters on the far wall. though it is often damp, the alley isn't too terribly dirty. most of the trash scattered across the pavement is done so by the animals. there's always scraps in the restaurant trash, which attracts other creatures like cats and the occasional raccoon. the alley actually stretches behind what could seem to be a shopping center, winding behind another restaurant or two. the store-front directly beside the restaurant, Delizio's, is ruined, destroyed by a kitchen fire. the fire truck tried to attend the fire from the alley, since the kitchen was in the rear, but the fire had done a number. now the brick wall has crumbled, and is a gaping hole in the rear of the charred building. the kitchen is a rectangle shaped room and it leads into what once was an expansive dining room area. overturned and blackened tables are recognizable, most of the chairs aren't fully formed anymore. a bit further down the alley is a water drainage trough that is fed from the strip of restaurant's rooftops. six canines could be supported here.
