leading into the building from the parking lot are glass double-doors. inside is a medium-sized room with tile flooring and florescent lighting. the front desk is large and dark in color, and is situated in the center of the room on the far wall. directly beside the desk is a glass door which leads into the center's veterinary clinic. to the left of the desk is a door leading to the kennels, and on the right of the room is a door leading to the cat rooms.

through the door beside the front desk of the animal center. when dogs are first brought into the clinic by the mobile unit, the dog's general information will be acquired in one of the many examination rooms. this consists of name, age, gender, breed, height, weight, length, average heart-rate, and anything else included in a general physical. then the dog's shot record will be drawn if possible, and if necessary they will be brought up-to-date. a bath follows. then a temperament evaluation. this usually consists of general touching to see if any places on body causes aggression, testing possessive tendencies with false baby/child, attempting to touch food while eating, etc. after this process is done, the dog is led to the kennels. the technician is to fill the water and food bowls before leaving the dog.

along the west wing of the animal center lie the kennels, separated into 3 rooms which each hold 12 kennels. there are 6 kennels on each side of the rooms, their entrances built with chain-link fencing secured to concrete floors and walls. a kennel is 4 feet wide by 4 feet long with a concrete floor, a generic bed raised about three inches off the ground and a towel. there's almost always at least one toy in each kennel--tennis balls, frisbees, and tug ropes being the most common. there's a small doggy door at the rear of each kennel, which leads to a grassy area that is encompassed by fence with concrete at the base to prevent escape. water is always available, and food comes twice a day.

operating from the rear of the animal center's veterinary clinic is a mobile unit that's sole purpose is to go into Sang City and capture stray dogs. these dogs will be housed in the kennels until homes can be found or indefinitely. each mobile unit catcher has a 4x4 truck at their disposal, one with four areas in the bed that can hold canines. the catcher has many tools in their truck, really anything they would need so long as they think to use it. the goal of the catcher should not be to harm the animal, but to safely transport it back to the animal center. the dogs will be taken to the rear, so they can be processed through the veterinary clinic before being taken to the kennels. this board is event-based. if you'd like to find someone to help you proceed with a mobile unit thread, please see the event request board.
