most of these short but long buildings are still in use. these warehouses are designed to hold vehicle machinery, and as thus only have a garage-style door at its' fore and a standard door beside it. generally there's heavy traffic of vehicles and feet alike as they handle the work-day, which is mostly comprised of bringing in new machinery and sending out those already sold. fork-lifts aren't too common what with the main elements held being larger machinery. at the very rear of the lot, there's a single warehouse that is abandoned. it's just as large as the others, but the interior is entirely empty. there's a staircase leading to a raised office at the rear of the building, and the garage-style door has been left forever cracked. this crack allows raccoons and rats into the warehouse. the leaky roof provides water when it rains, which collects in troughs at the base of the warehouse walls. six canines could be supported here.

once a neighborhood, now a not-so-literal ghost-town. most of the houses are two-story buildings, but some have only a ground floor. some homes have basements, some attics, some fenced-in yards. these buildings are no longer homes, but they are still decent shelter from the elements. not all of them have broken doors or windows. the structures all have mostly emptied interiors, furniture and clothing are about the only things left. any and all water that is available here comes with the rain, so the dry season is a bit difficult to survive through. small prey animals such as rats and hares frequent the homes in search of food or to pick through forgotten gardens. four canines could be supported here.

built upon large square cinder-block style bricks, this structure once had been quite impressive. large but not enough to be imposing, this white-dusted old church was built to seat a maximum of perhaps one hundred people. the front entrance is a pair of wooden double-doors with brass handles, but all it takes is a little push to get them open. Immediately at the entrance is a tiny foyer, a woman's bathroom to the right and a men's bathroom to the left. a gated archway leads into the sanctuary, a plush crimson carpet encompassing its flooring. wooden pews line the sanctuary, an altar at the front center. to the left of the altar is a dried baptism pit, and to the right of the altar lie instruments of a band long gone. with a lake as the church's neighbor, and forest extending beyond that, six canines can be supported here.

there's a narrow dirt road that winds its way from the suburbs and into the outer limits. branching off it is a rubble driveway of sorts, leading to a three story Elizabethan titan of a house. heavily weathered from years of standing vacant in the midst of nothing. it is perhaps not as impressive as it once might have been. the front door is still secure, but the side and rear doors have been torn from the hinges by wind. both doors lead to an expansive kitchen on the ground floor. there's a doorway leading to the dining room on the left, and there's a door leading to the living room on the wall opposite the rear door. in the dining room stands only an old wooden table, in the living room are a few springy couches and chairs. also on the ground floor is a small bathroom and a door leading to the basement, but both are inaccessible. up the flight of stairs are two other bathrooms and six bedrooms with small beds. each bedroom has a long dresser with half-opened or missing drawers. each closet is empty. the six bedrooms on the top floor are furnished in an alike manner, though their beds are larger. the only indication that this place used to be a farm is the small barn filled with various equipment, and the run-down fencing of a pasture. with plenty of wild game around and a large creek as a water source behind the house, eighteen canines could be supported here.

Board Information

OUTER LiMiTS
though still technically considered city limits, the outer edges are diverse and separated. to the east sit warehouses and empty houses, to the south small farmland, and to the north the old church. though there are many locations that comprise the outer limits, nearly all are perfect for strays to inhabit.
