FLEA MARKET
in the north-western area of the park there is a cobblestone square that holds a flea market every day save for when the Renaissance Concert is using the location. vendors have booths that sell, among other things, jewelry, clothes, furniture, and of course food. during the day, the square is usually flooded with adults and children. some people bring instruments or coat themselves in silver spray-paint to try and earn a few bucks. homeless people wander along in search of a helpful hand and some free food. at night, the stalls are left hollowed of the more valuable items and perishables, but the amount of scraps dropped during the day is remarkable. there's a medium-sized fountain at the center of the square which runs every day except in winter, spitting water from a swan's extended beak. a stray cat or two will wander in from time to time. eight canines could be supported here.
