In the far rear of the caverns of Howling Peak, around a small curve in the narrow tunnel, lies a small rise of rock. This rock leads up, like a staircase, into a cozy chamber. This chamber cannot be seen from the tunnel, affording the occupants great privacy. Large enough for nearly three adult wolves, this den has a mostly-flat floor with a high dome ceiling. Just to the right of the entrance is a small cubby made of two tall rocks with a round one placed atop.

HOWLiNG PEAK
at the top of the smallest mountain is a rock shaped vaguely like the head of a howling wolf. when the wind picks up, it seems to howl as it whips past the rock. a hundred feet or so below the rock formation there is a large ledge beneath a small opening in the cliff face. this is the mouth to a small cave system that hides beneath the mountain. though there are many blind creatures within the caves, they are mainly insects, and there is only one small stream as a water source, ultimately meaning that only five canines could be supported here.
