PHYSiCAL DESCRiPTiON. Fiero is slightly larger than what his two species would typically be. He stands at the grand height of 33 inches and weighs a total of 100 pounds. Most of this is muscle that he chooses not to use. He has large, broad shoulders, long slender legs, and a long torso. There is nothing small about Fiero, his paws are even large, appearing larger than the average wolf's. He appears more threatening than he actually is, he would rather not fight. This doesn't mean he hasn't before, however. He has plenty of scars marring his frame--most of which are covered by his thick pelt.
His coat is hard to miss, being such a fiery color. He has the typical markings of a Mexican/Grey wolf but somehow inherited red tones. His light creamy underside is topped with vibrant oranges, reds, and muddy browns. They mix together to make a rather unique coloring. Along his spine and top of his cranium are dark brown hairs, blending down into the reds and oranges as it reaches the side of his face and body. His tail however is a blend of all three colors. His orbs are dull when in comparison to his pelt, but they bleed emotions. His dull grey eyes could rival storm clouds when he is angry, the colors seem to swirl in rage.
PERSONALiTY. Fiero is many things, lazy, short tempered, and intelligent. He has a higher IQ than most would think he has due to his lazy attitude. He enjoys laying in the shade listening to the forest around him, he doesn't have time for the pestering of other wolves. He has a short temper when it comes to those who don't understand he wants to be left alone, it is very rare that one would see him with another wolf by his side. He simply cannot stand others, that's one of the reasons he was released from his facility at a young age. He snaps at others far too easily and it leads to him taking off and finding a silent place to calm down in. He doesn't want to hurt others, he just can't help his temper. Aside from his fiery attitude he is rather dull in nature, he doesn't do anything exciting nor would he want to. If it were up to him he would sleep for the rest of his life.
HiSTORY. Fiero is from a facility that was really just there to try bringing back the more endangered species, they had no serious purpose. When they mistakenly put a Mexican wolf and a Grey wolf in the same enclosure they ended up with Fiero's litter. There was nothing off with the pups--they all seemed healthy--it was only when they started getting older that the enclosure noticed they seemed to be larger than they should. Perhaps it was something odd with the mix of genes from their parents. Still they weren't unhealthy so the facility had no reason to worry, they loved the interesting colors they received from the four puppies.
As their personalities developed is when they noticed Fiero wasn't the most friendly pup, he would always hurt his siblings if they pestered him too much. This lead the facility to moving him into his own enclosure, believing he should not be with other wolves until he calmed down. Two months alone did nothing to relax the boy, they tried putting him in with another wolf, a younger girl. He wanted nothing to do with her, he just growled at her and kept his distance. Finally they made the decision to release him into the reserve figuring he would do better out on his own. Which he has, it's been two and a half years since then, he has avoided all contact with other wolves and lived in peace. He hunts as he needs to and feeds off the same meal for as long as he can.
