THE GREEN GULLY

if such a terrible misnomer existed, it would be this place. far from green, this gully is dry and arid. the dirt slopes look easy enough to climb, but the loose sediment makes it a very difficult task indeed. young and old can easily become trapped here, unable to ascend the slopes to freedom. at the deepest part of the gully exists a small patch of cracked earth. if one were to dig hard enough, muddy water could be found beneath. birds call this place home, providing a meal, if you can reach their nests. two canines could be supported here.
