The man is a midget - he can only reach to the sixth button - but on rainy days, has his umbrella to push the correct button.

PHYSiCAL DESCRiPTiON. Cassia is a tall, well-built Mackenzie Valley Wolf. With large paws to support her heft, she bears fur of a deep charcoal, though moonlight sprinkled white across her brow, like stars in the deep black. Tall to the shoulder, and bearing a large weight upon her body, Cassia is a nice six foot long from shoulder to tail. Her fur is thick and plush, her ears well-rounded upon her head, while she bears three thin scars along her left shoulder, splitting the flesh wide and marking her apart from others in the facility she was born at. Her eyes are a brilliant gold, though she bore a splinter of green in the left. Her nose pad is the same dark leather as her body, but is moist and she looks healthy with it. There is a gleam to her coat that she is particularly proud of, but her tail curves across the well-muscled flanks and along her developed hocks. Despite the fact that she’s almost over-large in weight, she still bears a distinct femininity with her. Her waist is trim and her hips are curvaceous – hinting at a healthy amount of accumulated fat to cover the muscles built up around her shoulders and chest.
PERSONALiTY. Cassia is a calm, confident young wolf. Getting ready to come into the prime of her life, she often finds herself being a social butterfly. Friendly and confident, she has a lot of strength inside. She’s a keen learner and always wants to learn new things, or new ways of doing things. She’s happy to put her time to doing things for other wolves, but she has a sensitive side when she feels as though a wolf is slighting her. Though she has her serious side, she also has a flirtatious side, finding it fun to press her attention to the male wolves – well, those without a mate, anyway. She isn’t a home-breaker, and won’t let anyone class her as one. With her flirting set aside, she is a very tactile wolf, finding the affection of others something she enjoys immensely. One of her dreams in life is to finally become an alpha like her mother, whereas her fear is failing the ideals drummed into her from the very beginning of her life. She enjoys to be around the wolves that have, perhaps, a chequered past but she’s entertained an intense hatred of humans every day of her young life. She has memories of what they have done in the past, and sometimes they impact her in different ways. Nightmares are frequent, as are the mornings that she wakes up yelping. She doesn’t talk easily about them though – instead, she’d rather keep quiet and work herself to make them disappear.
HiSTORY. Born to Alphas within a Canadian breeding facility, Cassia was one of a large litter. Nine, exactly. Three were taken away by the time she was six weeks old, to be reared in other facilities in the area. With the litter lessened, she found herself put through a rigorous training by her parents. They were never harsh, but often spoke of their respective wild homes before traps caught them, and planes transported them to their current home. Cassia and her sister, Alys, were the only two females to remain in the pack of eight, but Cassia grew to become larger than her sister, and equal in size almost to her brothers. They were purposely bred that way, her father often boasted when telling tales of their past. He was larger than most of his species, a full hundred and forty pound in weight, seven foot in length and three foot to the shoulder. Her mother was much the same, though her body appeared built more delicately. Both were black wolves, with the same gold-green tinged eyes that Cassia, and indeed, all her litter bore.
Her training began when she was almost six months old in earnest. Her father trained her to hunt and to fight, though only against her brothers. He refused to go up against her until she was an older wolf, but eventually they found each other in less a spar, more a true fight. Their teeth had raked through fur, but Cassia had eventually found flesh scraped in three thin lines across her shoulder. Only her brothers leaping in the way had stopped her from dying that day, and from that to the day the humans had darted her, he had kept his distance – either from fear of hurting her or from dislike, she wasn’t sure. She never would be sure. She was a year old when talk of being Alpha came from her mother – her father’s occasional, gruff comments enough to help her develop a dream of making them both proud – maybe then they’d realise that they’d raised a wolf strong enough to be special.
It was only a few weeks before her removal that she watched her brother killed. For months, she’d watched him talking to her father, kept apart from the others and given only the best part of the food given. He was trying to escape when a guard, panicking over the fearful sight of an immense inky frame, bristling and snarling at him, had lowered his gun and shot him full in the face. They had all stopped, shock and anger building in their chest. Here, they’d been safe – or were supposed to be. Eventually, one of their normal keepers removed his body, but just after that, her father had fallen into a deep depression, from which he hadn’t brightened. Time had come for their young to move on, and a second litter be bred. They’d had almost two years together to learn to be wolves – now it was time for them to go off and be alone. Cassia slept, unaware of the flight that came where her body was removed and shifted to a new world – one where she’d have to explore and get to know the other wolves.
